A Film in Your Life?

I love eat pray love, because  I could identify myself with the character that Julia Roberts plays, I have always been crazy about the National Geographic magazine, I’ve always wanted to learn Italian and travel the world as well. I love that is based on a true story and the fact that she just leaves everything behind in order to pursuit her dream, is absolutely breathtaking. I bet many of us would love to do that, we just don’t do it, for whatever the reason is.

After I saw the movie I couldn’t stop thinking about doing the same, and I still do. I would love to spend a season in Bali, hopefully one day. The movie just reminds me that life is too short to put aside your dreams and well, if you’ve already done it, it’s never too late to set out on your journey.

ps. after the movie read the book and i have to say that the book is just fantastic! Reading the book of Elizabeth Gilbert is like reading the letters of a friend, she just got me!

I haven’t read the book or seen the film yet. The book is on my “want to read” list though. It is not always easy to follow your dreams and often people try to stand in your way, but there is a real liberation to just bucking up and doing it. I am so glad I found the courage to come back to Japan. I hope you get to follow your dreams. 🙂
